Hormoz Moaven, PhD
Senior Principal, Los Angeles
Hormoz has been a part of Deallus for over 10 years. He serves as the Emerging Biopharma practice lead and Rare Diseases practice lead, forming trusted thought partnership across a vast set of disease areas. During his time with Deallus, Hormoz has successfully overseen strategic and tactical engagements involving new product planning, clinical development, product launch, market landscaping, competitive benchmarking, patient support, digital technology integration, and market access. He has also led a breadth of project scopes, including global initiatives focused on life cycle management, commercial opportunity assessment, generic entry scenario planning, biologic manufacturing, KOL/payer perspectives, companion diagnostics, and biosimilars.
What do you bring to Deallus and clients that is unique?
I have a very client-centric approach and my work ethic stems from that – I put the client first in everything I do. I also have a very curious mind – I want to find more information and don’t stop until I do.
So I tend to uncover some very interesting insights where other people might have stopped sooner, before they find that insight that changes your view on something. I’m really scientifically driven and I think it shows in this aspect of my personality. I need to get to the ‘why’ of something.
